Preparation of the LCD/Digitizer for Installation

  1. Remove the LCD/Digitizer from the shipping material.

  4. Adhere this film on the backside of the new glass.

  1. Carefully slide the cables and components thru the openings in the iPhone frame.

  7. Now the home button is installed press down firmly to adhere the glass to the frame.

Attaching the Ribbon Cables to the Main Board

Note: Do not expect this to go as easily as I make it look in the video. I have done this several times so I have learned what to expect. Depending on how long the cables are from the manufacturer will determine how easily they will attach. We are talking very small tolerances here. Dont be discouraged, be patient and take your time.
  1. Attach the single cable on the right side and gently hold down on the Main board.
  2. From underneath press the 2 ribbon cables onto the 2 separate connectors.
It may be easier to reach these from the battery side during installation.
  1. Once the cables are attached gently hold down on the Main board to keep the cables attached.

  1. Lay the cover over the frame to position the power button cable.
  2. Connect the power button cable to the connector on the Main board.
  3. Lay the cover into place and depress the outer edges to latch the cover into place.
  4. Slide the antennae cover into position from the bottom
  5. Push firmly but ensuring the tabs lock into position.

Insert SIM card holder

  1. Insert the SIM card into the holder.
  2. Depress the holder into the phone until it is secure.
Power on the phone and enjoy!
